What?
Celebrating the tremendous efforts by women around the world in shaping a peaceful and sustainable future, this meeting explores the impact of women in leadership. How do they inspire and empower others to live up to their full potential and leave a mark on their organizations, communities and the world at large? The meeting highlights women creating peace and working in a regenerative way towards a sustainable future for all.
Coming from international organizations, companies, associations, and start-ups, participants will have a chance to learn from inspirational speakers and interact in small working groups. The event will accelerate projects focused on different aspects of the SDGs: the environment, women’s leadership, diversity and inclusion, education and more. Purposeful networking will strengthen connections and increase synergies.
Who?
This meeting is hosted by CSPOC in collaboration with GCF-WIN and explores the impact of women in leadership. CSPOC is a United Nations accredited NGO focused on self-sustaining solutions through integrating Health, Education and Enterprise, whilst celebrating Diversity & Inclusion and recognising women as key to longitudinal change.
WIN has worked on advancing, inspiring, developing and connecting women for 25 years. The organization has had a strong impact globally and is particularly well connected in Europe, Africa and Japan. Global Citizen Forum (GCF) works for a world that goes beyond gender, nationality and boundaries and brings its Asian network to the collaboration.
GCF and WIN have worked together since 2019 and plan to host a 2 day major convening on Women Leaders Pioneering a Thriving Future at the UN in New York in 2023. This Geneva convening is part of several stops on the way to this meeting.
