The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) is holding it’s biennial CTBT: Science and Technology Conference (SnT) from 19-23 June 2023 at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria and online!
Women scientists, researchers, engineers, experts, and policy professionals working in the areas of nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament and the scientific fields that support the work of CTBTO are highly encouraged to register for this hybrid conference.
SnT brings together over 1200 scientists, researchers, civil society representatives, youth, journalists, UN representatives and Member State delegates in-person and online to discuss the science and technology behind CTBTO’s mandate to end nuclear testing, and the state-of-the-art verification system we have built to monitor the globe for nuclear tests. During the week-long event, experts from around the world gather to discuss a range of issues. You can find detailed information on all conference themes and discussion topics for SnT2023 in the conference brochure. You can read about previous SnT Conferences on the CTBTO website and see photos from the 2019 and 2021 conferences on our Flickr account.
Participants can attend the conference in-person in Vienna or online, but registration is required for both modalities. You can register and learn more about the conference here: https://conferences.ctbto.org/event/23/
