2020 represents a pivotal year for gender equality and the realisation of rights of women and girls everywhere. Now updated with over 22,000 documents, the new Human Rights Database, housed on the Girls' Rights Platform, allows all individuals working in the human rights sector to have the latest international and regional policy documents in 3 UN languages at their fingertips, giving everyone access to the data they need on human rights and gender equality.

  • We will showcase the newest and updated version of the Human Rights Database and demonstrate its capabilities.
  • Practitioners will share their experience with the Human Rights Database and how it informed their work on human rights and gender equality.
  • The panel will discuss the needs for advancing a gender, age and diversity lens in policy-making and the negative effects of reservations in international law on gender equality.

Open to UN Badge holders only.
