As obstacles to gender justice escalate in conflict and post-conflict zones around the world and international justice institutions face increasing attacks on their legitimacy and mandates, the need for a space to build resilience, solidarity, and resistance has never been more urgent.
Join us for a two-day conference organized by the Gender Justice Practitioner Hub (GJPHub), Legal Action Worldwide (LAW), Women's Initiatives for Gender Justice, and the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam, bringing together over 100 practitioners, scholars in the field of gender justice to confront urgent challenges, foster solidarity, and amplify our collective voices.
We will confront the increasing global backlash against gender justice, examine efforts and good practices towards intersectional and survivor-centred justice efforts in different global contexts, and discuss the urgency of feminist movement-building in international justice, among other issues.
You can find the full program of the conference here.
