To mark this year’s global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, UN Women and the EU Delegation to the UN in Geneva would like to invite you to #OrangeGeneva and join us in saying NO! to violence against women. Together, we want to demonstrate the commitment of the International Geneva community to together combatting Gender-based violence by spelling out a giant and powerful human NO! at the United Nations. *
We would like to invite all Permanent Missions, International Organizations and NGOs in Geneva (Heads of Missions/Organizations’ level if possible) to join us at the Ariana Park of the Palais des Nations on 24 November at 11 am to form the human NO and take a group photo. The Director-General of UNOG, Tatiana Valovaya, has kindly agreed to attend the photoshoot. Wear orange if you can! We shall also have orange material available! The photo will be made available to all participating Missions/organizations for the launch of the campaign on the 25th of November, to be shared widely on your social media channels.
