On Wednesday 30th March, in the margins of the 49th Human Rights Council Session, the Global Survivor Fund is holding a virtual "Briefing on Transitional Justice and Opportunites for Reparations for Conflict-Related Sexual Violence in South Sudan", co-sponsored by the Permanent Missions of Norway and France.
The side event serves as the launch of GSF's Study on the Status of and Opportunities for Reparations for Survivors of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence in South Sudan.
It reviews the scale, scope and context of conflict-related sexual violence in South Sudan, presenting survivors' views, perceptions of and recommendations for avenues for reparations.
