Kick off meeting of the GGC impact group on "UN-SWAP/organizational culture, structure and policies"

The impact group
This impact group is a merger of two initially foreseen groups on (i) internal policies, human resources and workplace culture (ii) UN personnel system and SWAP.
The objective of this impact group is to leverage the ongoing interagency work in implementing the UN-SWAP to strengthen accountability among GGC on commitments related to internal policies, human resources management and organizational culture.

Proposed agenda for the kick off meeting

1. Analysis by OHCHR on GGC commitments related to internal policies, HR management and organizational culture
2. Presentation by UN Women on the UN-SWAP, with a focus on indicators related to the impact group
3. Testimony by UN entities on how they used the SWAP framework to push the gender mainstreaming agenda within their organizations
4. Discussion on how the UN-SWAP framework could be used by permanent missions and civil society organizations members of the GGC for more gender equal internal policies, HR management and organizational culture, in their entities but also in the UN
