A visual, photographic exploration of sharing different visions about who, where, how and what men can and do love in these times of increasing conflict and polarisation.
This exhibition is brought to you by Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom’s Mobilising Men for Feminist Peace Initiative. Through this initiative they work globally across twelve conflict and post-conflict countries to mobilise men to work with women to advocate for peace and gender equality and they use research, advocacy, activism and creative projects to create a more just and equitable future for all.
The exhibition is an outcome of two photography collaborations that explored the relationship between masculinity, conflict, love and peace. This nomadic visual exhibition will travel to Bogota, Geneva, the United States and other parts of the world.
Through this exhibition, they hope to spark reflections and conversations amongst policy makers, activists and ordinary citizens about the roles and responsibilities of men related to peace and gender justice and what we can all do to increase their support.
Join WILPF in this journey to finding ways to increase men’s support for feminist peace!
