The UNIDO Geneva Office has the pleasure of inviting you to the Launch of the 2018 Industrial Development Report and a presentation of the report “Structural Change for Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development” on Thursday, 28 June 2018, at 10 a.m., in Room XXI (1st Floor, Door E40) at the Palais des Nations.

Interpretation in 6 languages will be provided.

Background:

Industrial development requires both the creation of production capabilities and the expansion of markets for industrial goods. The interaction between these forces can lead towards a process of structural transformation and economic development. During the event, two recent UNIDO reports on these topics will be presented and discussed: the Industrial Development Report 2018, “Demand for Manufacturing: Driving Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development” and the Report “Structural Change for Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development”.
