The 67th Commission on the Status of Women reaffirmed the role of technology and innovation, and education in the digital age in accelerating gender equality. Join us for this Geneva-based event to demonstrate a joint commitment to build a gender-equal digital world. The hybrid panel discussion will be participated by UN Women and ITU Senior Management, the ambassadors of the Permanent Missions of Chile, South Africa and Australia and, representatives from civil society organizations and the private sector with an expertise in the areas of technology and innovation.
This event is part of Ms. Adriana Quinones (Head, Human Rights and Development - UN Women Geneva Office) commitments to raise awareness about reducing the gender digital gap, women’s and girls’ underrepresentation in STEM careers and the need of a gender-responsive and inclusive technology.
