Women receive less pay than men for work of equal value in many countries around the globe, including the UNECE region. This gender pay gap persists despite the recognition of the principle of equal remuneration. At the current rate, over 100 years will be needed to close the gap. How does this affect each one of us and what approaches could eliminate this inequality at a faster pace?
Join us to discuss these issues and find out what is done in the UNECE region to accelerate progress towards closing the gender pay gap by 2030.
