New Library Talk: "The Glass Ceiling - conveying experience".

When talking about #gender issues, you may have heard of the glass ceiling effect. The glass ceiling is the invisible #barrier that prevents #women from rising to the highest ranks when pursuing a #career. Statistics show that this barrier also exists for women working at the United Nations.

What does the so called “glass ceiling” look like from an individual perspective?

This event opens the possibility to learn more about the personal experiences of women working within the UN system at different career stages and in different fields. The panellists will examine structural challenges and open a constructive dialogue with the audience on ways of creating an equal #work environment.
