The Albanian OSCE Chairmanship will hold the Third Gender Equality Review Conference on 27-28 October 2020. The conference is organized with the support of the OSCE Gender Issues Programme and the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). The Conference will review progress in the implementation of the 2004 OSCE Action Plan for the Promotion of Gender Equality and promote more systematic implementation and targeted activities in priority areas for gender equality in the OSCE´s three dimensions.  It will also provide space to discuss emerging issues that impact the promotion of gender equality in the OSCE region.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis and taking into account the limitations to travel, the Conference will be held in “virtual” format on the Zoom platform.

The Zoom link to access the Conference will be sent via email after the close of registration. Virtual participation via Zoom is limited to 4 persons per delegation.

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, Russian and sign language. As in previous years, participants will have the opportunity to request and organize relevant side events which will be delivered fully in an online format.
