How can progress towards equity and inclusion be so slow?  What are the challenges in creating culture change?  And is achieving gender equality a problem to solve or a tension to lead?  How can we have more constructive conversations and engage with men and women who are fence-sitters or resisters?  Champions and Focal Points are invited to join Australian Ambassador Sally Mansfield and Fleur Heyworth, Head of Secretariat and Head of Gender and Inclusive Security at the GCSP to share experiences, tips and leadership tools during an interactive session.  In particular, we will look at advancing diversity, equity and inclusion through a ‘polarity lens’.

Please be ready to actively engage and share your ideas in break-out groups.  The workshop will operate under Chatham House rules and as such will not be recorded.  If you cannot attend, you are welcome to extend the invitation to one or two colleagues in your organisation who would find it useful.
