In partnership with the Mukwege Foundation, GSD is pleased to invite you to join an online webinar on the impacts of peacetime gender equality and gender-based violence (GBV) capacity-building on preventing and responding to conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV). The webinar will feature a dialogue between survivor network representatives, police and women’s rights activists from Ukraine and Mali who all work in different and meaningful ways to combat gender based violence linked to conflict in two very distinct settings.
The discussion will explore the critical role of capacity-building in strengthening police and justice sector responses to CRSV, as well as the challenges and good practices observed in conflict-affected settings. The event will also be an opportunity to share key findings from DCAF’s research on Security Sector Reform and Conflict-Related Sexual Violence.
