The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, UN Women, is pleased to invite you to the Special Event to Commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, “Women Walking for Peace: Leveraging human rights mechanisms for the prevention and response to conflict-related sexual violence” that will take place on Wednesday, 26 June 2024, between 15:00 – 16:00 CET in Room XXV, Palais des Nations.
The event is organized by UN Women with the support of the Catalan Agency for International Development Cooperation (ACCD) and co-sponsored by the Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva.
