From June 8-13, 2017 the Iraqi feminist will speak in different Swiss cities about her fight for women’s rights and the protection of women in Iraq. Yanar Mohammed has been working for over 15 years for women’s rights in Iraq. During this time, she has opened the first shelters for women who suffer from violence.
During the VOIX DES FEMMES 2017 not only will they address the situation of women in Iraq, but also the dangerous work for human rights done by Yanar Mohammed as well as other Women Human Rights Defenders.
