Online High-Level Roundtable: “Tackling the Shadow Pandemic – Violence Against Women During COVID-19 Times”
One in three women experiences physical or sexual violence at least once in their lifetime. Every year, the Ban Ki-moon Centre supports the global UN Women campaign “Orange the World” that takes place between the 25th of November and the 10th of December to raise awareness for this grave issue.
Eliminating Violence Against Women in Politics
On Wednesday 25 November (15-16:30 CET) - the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women - the Inter-Parliamentary Union and Kofi Annan Foundation will convene a group of experts and leaders* in the field to discuss concrete solutions and policy responses, and promote their urgent adoption and implementation.
