On 8 February 2022, Ambassador Baeriswyl of Switzerland hosted over 50 Gender Champions of New York for their Annual Meeting of the International Gender Champions. Champions shared their personal commitments for 2022 to identify how to enhance interactions and synergies among the network, particularly with the new core pillar, the IGC Gender-based Violence Pledge. Keynote statements were by:
