SEVEN stories, SEVEN women. Performed as a reading in more than 42 countries, SEVEN the play tells the stories of seven courageous women activists from Russia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Guatemala and Cambodia who overcame abuse of power and advanced Women’s rights. First time ever in Geneva and at the United Nations, this major event will be opened by a powerful performance by world-renowned opera singer Barbara Hendricks.

Jill Abramson, Senior Lecturer at Harvard University, in partnership with the Permanent Mission of the United States to the United Nations, will explore key female voices.
