The International Gender Champions (IGC) is proud to announce that it has been named a Top 10 Nominee for the FE+MALE Biennial Award 2026, in recognition of its continued efforts to advance gender equality and inclusive leadership worldwide.
The nomination, awarded by the FE+MALE Think Tank, highlights IGC’s impactful work in promoting systemic change, fostering dialogue, and supporting concrete commitments across its global network. The jury commended the initiative’s strong vision, sustained dedication, and measurable contributions to embedding equity into institutional practices.
The FE+MALE Biennial Award celebrates organisations that successfully translate equality into strategy, champion inclusive decision-making, and deliver tangible progress. Being selected among the Top 10 nominees underscores IGC’s role as a leading platform for driving meaningful change in gender equality.
The award ceremony took place on 17 March 2026 in Zurich, and was attended, on behalf of the IGC, by Ambassador Matthew Wilson, Permanent Representative of Barbados and member of the IGC Global Board, Jennifer Brant, long-standing Gender Champion, and Fleur Heyworth, Head of the IGC Secretariat.
The IGC warmly welcomes this recognition and looks forward to continuing its mission to advance leadership for gender equality across its six hubs and beyond.
