Webinar on Trade and Gender to discuss the barriers women face when engaging in trade and how policymakers can address them. The event will showcase the Global Trade and Gender Arrangement (GTAGA) concluded by Canada, Chile and New Zealand in August 2020 that aims to “increase women’s participation in trade as part of broader efforts to improve gender equality and women’s economic empowerment”.

Join UNCTAD and the Enhanced Integrated Framework for the public launch of their new publication, entitled "Trade and Gender Linkages: An analysis of least developed countries".

The course targets policymakers, academics from universities and research centres, and representatives of civil society in developing and least developed countries involved in policy formulation and implementation, research, teaching, advocacy or field work in the area of trade and gender.

An online panel followed by a Q&A which will bring together International Gender Champions to share experiences and lessons learned in the practicalities of turning broader gender priorities into concrete practice both within government and multilateral international justice institutions.

The dialogue will explore how we can collaborate to address, prevent and, ultimately, eradicate sexual harassment through creating an enabling environment.
