High-Level Dialogue with women championing resilience and multiplying solutions in the face of the triple crisis for climate, food & energy

The event will explore good practices and efforts being undertaken to address, prevent and, ultimately, eradicate sexual harassment through an intersectional approach and continue the dialogue on our joint efforts to prevent sexual harassment across the UN system and beyond. It is jointly organized by the CEB Task Force on Addressing Sexual Harassment, the UN Secretariat and UN Women.   

Over the past decade, gender equality has arrived at the centre stage of diplomacy. More and more states have made claims to promoting pro-gender norms, women’s rights, and equal participation in global affairs. And yet, if we look at who is doing diplomacy, we find a continuous overrepresentation of men.

To mark International Women's Day, the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty will be holding a spotlight session to showcase its contributions to the nexus between climate crisis, natural hazards and women’s well-being.
